The AirPods 3 bass used to cap out when I had the equalizer on Spotify on max and I had the volume all the way up but on the new ones it doesn’t. Noise cancellation helps. I have had all previous generations of AirPods. One of the most important factors for me is comfort. These are by far the most comfortable AirPods I’ve ever worn. They feel better in my ear, and I can wear them longer with less fatigue. In addition, the spatial stereo, conversational mode, and noise canceling are fantastic. The software is magical. I love how I can be listening and still hear other people in transparent mode. I also like how I can start talking and then the headphones quiet and then automatically resume when I’ve stopped talking. Overall, I feel like this was money very well spent.

OKAY. I am someone who has very small ear cannals. I have spent years trying to find earbuds that fit my ears comfortably. Silicone in-ear tips have always been extremely uncomfortable for me. That being said, I did own the first gen Airpods Pro for a couple of years before buying these Airpods 4. I wanted earbuds that I could exercise with, use for commuting, and use for blocking out sound when I’m at school or on an airplane. The airpods pro fit the bill, but I could only wear them for short periods of time before they would start to seriously hurt. On top of that, they would always slowly come out of my ears. It didn’t matter what size of eartips I used. My ears are just NOT made for in-ear silicone tips. BUT THESE AIRPODS 4!!! Holy smokes they are so comfortable. They never fall out. I can wear them for hours at a time and not even notice them. I haven’t worn a pair of Airpods this comfortable since the gen 2 Airpods. The 3’s didn’t work for me either, but somehow really cooked up the ideal fit for the.

These are the Airpods I have been waiting for! I have owned AirPods Gen 1, Gen3, and Pro 1. The non-pro line has always fit my ear really well, providing great comfort for hours on end. The sealing tips of the Pro line have never stayed in very well, and caused some fatigue after an hour or two of use. The AirPods 4 with Noise Cancellation offer most of the features of the Pro line with the fit of the regular line. The noise cancellation works well enough to have some benefits, but it’s also nice to be able to disable it so I’m more aware of my surroundings at times (such as biking, listening to bus announcements, etc).

Since my ear is sensitive and I keep looking for a good earbud/earphone for years and finally Apple made it. Previously all earbuds with silicon tips will cause me otitis media, such as airpods pro, bose QuietComfort earbuds II, although their sound quality is great (Bose QC earbuds II is little better than airpods pro 2 in my opinion). I then went with open ear solution and owns Shokz openrun pro and open fit for years. openrun pro hasn’t trigger any unease of my ear while the sound quality is not good enough to enjoy music. Open fit has better bass while still much worse than airpods pro and bose quietcomfort. Also both open ear solution earbuds has some kind of sound leaking. In the meantime, for noise cancellation I also bought Bose QuietComfort 4 headphone while I cannot take it more than an hour or so w/o sweating on sides of face covering the ear pads.

So far these are my favorite AirPods. I have working AirPods from 1st to 3rd gen but I had to try the 4th gen ones. The bass is fuller, the fit in ear is more comfortable and the ANC really works. First, let me say that the sound quality sounds much more balanced than the Airpods Pro 2 and Airpods 3. The mids arent as high and the bass sounds more accurate and it could be because of the open design and absent eartips. These are more suitable for people with smaller ear canals as I sometimes find myself having to adjust these often and I would say I have a medium sized ear canal. Noise cancelling is exceptional in comparison to other similar buds but not earbuds with eartips, such as the Airpods Pros, and also considering these have an open air design. I do wish they could’ve added the volume control as a bonus but of course being Apple, they only reserve such features for their higher end products. Overall, these are a solid 8.5/10 and great for beginner audio listening and for people who haven’t previously owned Airpods.

First off I would like to say that if you are interested in purchasing these AirPods, please go straight to the Apple Store, find a friend or someone who has these already and fit them on because these are open ear earbuds and may not fit your ear as you would like them to, and depending on that then you can come back and buy them here. With that said, these are the AirPods many have been waiting for and I will say these are fantastic especially with the noice cancellation. If you have questions on whether these AirPods fit better than the AirPods 3 (which didn’t fit most people) or the 2nd Generation AirPods, these to me are much more comfortable and fit better than the 3’s (if the 3’s fit you these will fit you much better). These are as comfortable as the 2nd Gen’s in my opinion if they do fit you (for me these AirPods 4’s fit the best out of all the Apple earbuds) although these won’t fit as many ears as the 2nd gens but these will fit most people in comparison to the 3’s.
